What Does This Warranty Cover?

All internally lubricated parts of the engine, transmission (automatic or manual) and differential. THIS WARRANTY HAS A $250 DEDUCTIBLE PER REPAIR

Any implied warranties are limited to the duration of this express warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

How Long Does the Coverage Last? The coverage under this warranty begins at the mileage and vehicle sale date listed above and lasts for 12,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first for each applicable coverage. Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the vehicle. Coverage terminates if you do not change the oil every 3,000 miles for the warranty duration.

What Will Burns Dealer Do? We will pay 100% of the labor and 100% of the parts for covered components that fail during the warranty period, less the deductible per repair item. We may use new parts or used or reconditioned parts of like kind and quality.

What Does This Warranty Not Cover? Leaks are not covered. Seals and gaskets are not covered unless used in covered repairs. Coverage is not provided for failure arising out of abuse, misuse, improper or lack of maintenance, fluid levels or neglect. Substitute transportation is not provided under this limited warranty. This warranty does not apply to any fleet, delivery, courier, livery, rideshare, commercial vehicle or to any vehicle not used primarily for personal, family, or household purposes. Also, consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty. This warranty does not apply to any repairs that are covered by a manufacturer warranty, recall or manufacturer special policy. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

How Do You Get Service? Bring your vehicle to Burns Auto Credit service department and speak with one of our service advisors or store personnel. Towing costs are included if the failed component listed above is repaired. If a covered component fails outside a 50-mile radius of our facility you must call for approval prior to commencement of the repair.

You must retain and produce receipts covering performance of regular maintenance as recommended by the Burns Benefits plan to maintain your warranty. If you bring your vehicle to us for all scheduled maintenance, we will have a record of all such maintenance. If you choose to use a third party for your maintenance, they must be a licensed auto repair facility that can provide an invoice and a receipt. Coverage terminates if you do not change the oil every 3,000 miles for the warranty duration.

How Does State Law Apply? This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
